Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WOODPLANS.AI (the "Service"), operated by Sawinery LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

WOODPLANS.AI uses artificial intelligence to generate woodworking plans, including cut lists, materials, step-by-step instructions, and images, based on what you describe or upload. Members can also browse a library of plans created by the community.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription.
• You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain extra credits or free trials is not allowed. We may suspend or close accounts that do this, including accounts created from the same network or using the same payment card.

3. AI-generated plans and safety

Please read this section carefully.

• Plans are generated by AI and may contain errors, including incorrect measurements, quantities, joinery, load capacities, or steps. Images are illustrations only and may not match the cut list or instructions.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing every plan, checking all measurements before cutting, and deciding whether a project is safe and suitable for your skills, tools, materials, and intended use.
• Woodworking involves inherent risks, including serious injury from power tools and from structures that fail. Always follow your tool manufacturers' instructions, wear appropriate safety equipment, and consult a qualified professional for anything structural or load-bearing (such as furniture that holds people, shelving that holds heavy loads, or anything attached to a building), and for anything subject to building codes.
• Plans are not professional engineering, architectural, or construction advice.

4. Free trial, subscriptions, and billing

• Free trial. New accounts may start one 3-day free trial of Pro Monthly, which includes 5 plan credits and access to the plan library. A valid payment card is required. One free trial per person and per payment card.
• Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before your trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to Pro Monthly and your card is charged the price shown when you signed up (currently $9.90/month) and every month after that until you cancel. Annual plans renew every year at the annual price.
• Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage Billing. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged. If you cancel a paid subscription, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Credits. Each generated plan uses one credit. Subscription credits refresh each billing period and do not roll over. Purchased top-up credits do not expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. If a plan fails to generate, the credit is returned automatically.
• Refunds. Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. If something went wrong, contact us at the email below and we'll review it.
• Price changes. We may change prices. We'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
• Payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Your content and the plan library

• You keep ownership of the descriptions and photos you submit ("Your Content"). You confirm you have the right to submit them, and that they don't include other people's private information.
• You may use the plans generated for you for any personal or commercial purpose, including selling what you build.
• Community library. Unless you turn it off, plans you generate may be reviewed and added to the plan library, where other members can view and download them. Your name and email are not shown with library plans; your uploaded photos are not published. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, adapt, and distribute those plans as part of the Service. You can turn sharing off anytime in Account → Plan library, which removes your plans from the library.
• Plans in the library may be used by members to build projects, including for sale, but may not be resold, republished, or redistributed as plans.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything illegal, or to create plans for weapons or for anything intended to cause harm;
• upload content that infringes someone else's rights or that is offensive or unlawful;
• scrape, bulk-download, or copy the plan library, or resell access to the Service;
• abuse free trials, credits, or refunds, including by creating multiple accounts;
• interfere with or try to break the Service's security.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

7. Our property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the plan library as a collection, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the Service as described here.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL PLANS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT ANY PLAN IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, SAFE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR LOSS OF MATERIALS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY PLAN. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your projects, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and request account deletion anytime by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 3, 5, and 8 through 12 continue to apply after your account ends.

12. General

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
• We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll notify you (for example by email or in the app) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
